This was a challenging site due to the lack of space at the side of the property and a converging boundary. The client required a larger kitchen, home office and ground floor shower room/W.C. Due to the tight boundary the lack of natural daylight into the extension was an issue, however this was overcome by using a small feature lantern roof above the extended kitchen, a small obscured window to the W/C and shower room which overlooks the boundary and a larger window to the front home office which is in keeping with the existing front elevation.
C.P. Architectural handled the Design Work, Planning and Structural Calculations for this project.
