Orangery

This customer came to C.P. Architectural through a recommendation from a builder they had previously used. The first part of this project was an integral porch which gave the dwelling a more interesting and appealing frontage.

The second part was the addition of a rear organgery over the existing patio. C.P. Architectural recommended the removal of the patio doors to link the internal living space with the orangery. The finished effect is a lovely open plan living/dining room with large bi-fold doors which open out onto an outside patio area. The overall appearance of the finished orangery was particulary successful due to the attention to small details such as the tiled dining area floor and the tiled patio area being on the same level giving a feeling of fluidity to the space and the brickwork string course on the outside matching into the existing brickwork of the house.
